Dogs under 35 pounds

A current listing can be obtained by sending us your mailing (not E-mail) address; although availability changes frequently, pictures and descriptions of some small dogs are sometimes listed at www.capp.petfinder.com.

NOTE: CAPP does not place dogs under 35 pounds in households where children under 8 years of age either live or visit frequently, since both are fragile and their safety is our first priority.

 

Adult Cats

Adult Cats - Friendly, short-haired cats are generally available, with long-haired or purebred cats available on occasion, at Healthy Pet Center, N. Greenbush, NY (518) 283-4027. Special cats are sometimes featured at www.capp.petfinder.com.

Kittens

Kittens - Availability varies (generally April through November) at Healthy Pet Center, N. Greenbush, NY (518) 283-4027

CAPP's Adoption Policies:

  • Placement of all CAPP pets is limited to within a one-hour drive of the Albany area. Any exceptions to this limit will be noted in the pet's description.
